Away Team: Opening Night Interview of Stupid F*cking Bird
Starneslord, Carol the Cat and the Giddygeeker were thrilled to attend the opening night of Stupid F*cking Bird, the current production of Actors Theatre of Charlotte and directed by Chip Decker. The play is written by Aaron Posner, and is “sort of adapted” from The Seagull by Anton Chekhov.
After the show, we got to sit down with the cast and director to talk about opening night, the characters they play vs. real life, and the food they eat on stage.
Our Opinion: This play is amazing. There is humor, music, amazing sets, gut-wrenching performances, falling leaves, and pie. There’s even a Star Trek reference for your inner Geek. Please note: There is a lot of swearing and some nudity. This is not a play for children or the faint of heart. Definitely 3 thumbs up from the GoG crew! Go see it!
