About Mikey Mason

(stolen from Facebook)

Mikey Mason explodes on stage with a wit as fast as his mouth, infectiously hilarious original songs, and his completely twisted view.
He is not right in the head and he likes it that way.

Mikey’s act is somewhere between what we think and what we let ourselves say. And his songs…! With songs like, “I Hate Your Kids,” “Licky-Licky Night,” Reality Based Children’s Songs,” “Ode To A Single Mother Of Two In The Apartment Next Door At 5:30AM,” and many, many more, Mikey is unabashed, unafraid, and unquestionably funny. He’s the psycho stalker ex-boyfriend of comedy, except that you want to see him again. And again… And again…

Episode 212: Getting Filmy with Dave Harlequin

Episode 212 Dave Harlequin survived Charlotte traffic to come to our studios and talk about his life in films and journalism (and helps us stop talking about our exes.)  We also talk about the ubiquitous nature of Patrick Keenan and the meme-ing of Bill Mulligan.

Born in the midlands of South Carolina, Scott spent his early years reading great science fiction novels, mysteries, fantasy books and the Choose-your-own-adventure series of the 1980s. Baughman knew he wanted to be a writer by the third grade, where as an elementary school student on career day he eschewed the fireman, soldier or policeman costumes to dress up as a fedora-wearing, camera-snapping member of the press. Today, several newspaper jobs and journalism writing awards behind him, he has self-published the first book of his Balance of Power science fiction series – Rule of Thumb!
