Episode 275 – Brian Amidei, Cartage Theatre
Episode 275: Starneslord and The Giddy Geeker (who let the Cat out, again?) sit down with Brian Amidei from Cartage Theatre to discuss their new production of “An Apology for the Course and Outcome of Certain Events Delivered by Doctor John Faustus on This, His Final Evening.” In the play Doctor Faustus is in the last hour of his final night on earth – irritated, whining, drunk and repentant of nothing save his failure to keep a proper diary (sounds like Carol the Cat’s normal evening). Over the course of this hour he rails against his silent servant Mephistopheles and tells the fantastic tale of his life – a life filled with wonders, as well as an immeasurably vast evil.
The play runs at Warehouse PAC in Cornelius, NC. There are six performances – Nov 1 – Nov 17. Use the code “diary” for $5 off your ticket price! The Guardians plan to attend the Nov. 17 performance! See us there!
